Kabluey update

OK, stop drooling over Jeffrey Dean Morgan and pay attention. Plans for Sunday's Kabluey event are as follows:

All are invited! I will pre-purchase your ($9) ticket for you if you let me know by Friday morning. You can also call the theater on Sunday morning to reserve a seat. Our group is going to the 5pm showing.

We're going to have a drink at 4 at Clyde Common. I'll have your ticket for you there, or in the lobby between 4:45 - 5.

Scott is planning to be there afterwards if you'd like to meet him.

Call me with any questions! Thanks for helping to fill the theater!

KABLUEY update

Show times haven't been announced yet, but the plan is to attend the 5-ish showing on Sunday afternoon, August 24. We may pre-function across the street, either at Kenny & Zuke's (for beers & reuben sliders) or the old school bar at Clyde Common and cram in the photo booth for pictures to remember the day!

Scott will be at the theatre following the show, and pre-functioning with the 7-ish show people. (including his mom and her crew) So, presently, that is my plan. I'd love to introduce him to you all!

The Living Room Theatre (in case you haven't been there) is a very cool place, with bar and snacks in the lobby, lattes, etc.. and small-ish theaters. So if you are interested in going with us, please give me a holler!

KABLUEY

A fresh, unique, touching and often hilarious film that is a real summer treat...
all hail Scott Prendergast as a new director who is going places!' - REX REED

My nephew's movie is finally hitting Portland! Scott Prendergast's Kabluey opened to excellent reviews in Los Angeles and New York, and San Francisco and Portland are next on the list.

I want EVERYONE to come and see it in Portland! I will most likely try to arrange a gathering on one night (probably Sunday, Aug 24) - either at a nearby watering hole, or in the lobby at the theatre.

The Living Room Theatre (341 SW Tenth Avenue) has a bar and snacks right in the lobby, though it's also across the street from the ACE hotel, which would be another great place to convene.

Whatever the details, a good time is in store for everyone who gets a chance to see this fun movie! I saw it last summer when it premiered at the LA Film Festival and I can't wait to see it again!

Scott will be there on Friday, August 22 and Saturday, August 23 to do q & a's after the screening.

Or call me and we'll arrange to go together!
